Why Drylands Africa Concern
In rural communities across Africa’s drylands the challenges of poverty, food insecurity and biodiversity loss are being intensified by climate variability and change, economic instability, high inflation, protracted conflicts, and health pandemics.
The key to addressing each of these challenges lies in effective and sustainable drylands practices and livelihood systems. Drylands Africa Concern (DAfC) works in partnership with dryland communities to improve their livelihood systems, so that they can become more resilient.
